A conversation with my fiancé lately, focusing about the household items. For example:

Bedroom:
"Do we need to buy only bed or 1 set of bed room furniture?"
"How about the mattress? The cheap one (around RM200 to RM400) or we just buy the expensive one? Hard times at the beginning but we can save more in future?"
"Pakai toto dulu je pun boleh kot?"
"I don't want a make up mirror set. It makes room looks smaller. Sempitkan bilik je"

Living room:
"TV nak beli right after we move in or a few months after? Tak penting sangat kot since kita ada laptop and internet?"
"Couch? yes or no?"

Yes. A conversation like that. Whether to buy or not to buy. Berbaloi atau tak berbaloi. Almost every time we spoke on telephone.

It's kind of weird actually, thinking about our future like that. Somewhat uncomfortable but really, it is one of the important thing in marriage.

But above all, I think the most important thing in house (yang wajib ada) peti ais, dapur memasak dan perkakasan dapur (kuali, periuk, sudip, pinggan, cawan). Juga, bahan masakan. Yang lain boleh tunggu. Apa gunanya kahwin kalau dapur tak berasap hoi!
